Standard hire includes use of the Carpark, Toilets and Lounge. Additional rooms can then be combined with the standard hire. Discounts are available for members and regular bookings. For production hire we offer a ticket office split, or hire costs, whichever is greatest.

Shared hire is when the building is in use by the Stevenage Lytton Players, but the room would be for your sole use. Availability on enquiry.

Theatre
BIRTHDAYS, CHRISTENINGS, WEDDING PARTIES AND MORE
The Lytton Centre is available for hire as a party/event venue and as a working theatre.
We have hosted many birthday celebrations as well as the occasional christening and wedding parties, murder mystery nights, St Patrick’s celebrations and fundraising events.
We boast a main hall, bar with competitive bar prices and bar lounge. Use of the kitchen can also be accommodated for a small additional fee. The Lytton Centre also has a car park for approximately 20 cars.
Our Theatre
Our auditorium capacity is approximately 75 on raked seating, 60 cabaret style. Maximum capacity for the Centre, in accordance with our Licensing conditions, is 125 people.
The main hall can be hired as rehearsal space but please note, The Lytton Players is a busy theatre company with 5 active sections so the only regularly available evening slot for hire is Saturday. The Centre is available for hire weekdays up to 7.30pm. Sundays are only rarely available but please ask.
A deposit of £150 is required to secure a booking.
