The Stevenage Lytton Players Spring 2013 Musical Production was Whistle Down The Wind performed at the Gordon Craig Theatre.

Synopsis
The Stevenage Lytton Players present Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim ("Bat Out Of Hell") Steinman's musical based on the novel by Mary Hayley Bell and the film directed by Bryan Forbes and produced by Richard Attenborough. Reset to Louisianna in 1959 "Whistle Down The Wind" follows the fortunes of a fugitive caught between the prejudice of adults and the innocence of the young. Beautiful love songs and explosive rock numbers contrast the relentless influence of the modern world with the traditional values of the old days in this highly acclaimed musical.
